I’m Coach Shelby. I coach tennis and created String Match to make equipment choices easier to understand, with plain-language guides and free tools that help players compare options.
How the guides are made
The string and racquet guides combine practical coaching perspective with research into equipment specifications and product information. The tools use a limited, hand-curated set of options to explain possible fits and tradeoffs.
These tools are starting points, not lab tests or universal rankings. A recommendation may not suit every player; preferences, technique, health, budget, and available equipment matter. Product specifications and availability can change, so check current details with the manufacturer or retailer before buying.
